Fairlane Ford

Project Summary

Fairlane Ford, located in Dearborn, Michigan, has been in business since 1923. Since opening, the dealership has routinely incorporated advances in lighting technology in its showroom, outdoor lots, and repair and maintenance facilities.

When it was time to look at repairing or replacing it's fluorescent and metal halide fixtures, research showed LED fixtures to be the logical choice. "We looked at a number of different LED options, and based on overall operating cost, LED was the clear choice," said President Julie Turla. "The Lumerica team really took good care to assess what our needs were, and then presented us with the most cost-effective solutions."

From shoebox style fixtures in the parking lot to strip fixtures in the parts department, Lumerica's LED fixtures reduced lighting electricity consumption by 74%. LED Wallpacks, Shop Lights, and T8/T12 Retrofits also contribute to a 57,000 watt reduction in energy consumption for lighting.

Lumerica's LED Light Fixtures are also completely modular and can be serviced to last another life cycle. No need to replace the entire fixture, just replace the necessary part at the end of life cycle.
