Magna Shelby Foam Systems, located in Shelby Michigan, recognized the need to reduce monthly electrical expenses and facility management costs. Light degradation throughout the manufacturing area was also apparent.

After careful consideration, Magna International chose Lumerica to upgrade their entire facility, starting with replacing the standard HO T8 fluorescent lamps to energy efficient/low maintenance LED lamps. Magna completed the upgrade by installing Lumerica LED parking lot fixtures and area wallpacks as well as LED T8 tubes in the entire office and workspace area. The upgrade is projected to have a monthly savings of $2500 a month. Total payback will be 1.37 years with first maintenance schedule at 5.7 years.

Lumerica's Fixtures are completely modular and can be serviced to last an additional life cycle. No need to replace the entire fixture, just replace the necessary part at the end of life. The LED tubes can be replaced as needed.
