Green Oak Township
Pursuant to the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009, the Michigan Energy Office in coordination with the Michigan Strategic Fund set aside funding for local governments willing to demonstrate the benefits of advanced commercial lighting technologies. Green Oak Township applied for and was awarded grant funding to relight township facilities. Lumerica (then LumaSmart) was selected as the lighting manufacturer, and LaBelle Electric was selected to install the project.
